My name is Hannah Bell and I am the founder and lead photographer at Southern Belle Photography.

I discovered my love for photography in high school when I received my first camera and I have been shooting ever since. I shot my first wedding in 2010 and since then I've captured dozens of weddings for amazing couples all over North Carolina.

I am completely addicted to the happy tears, the heartfelt vows, and the raw joy that flows freely during weddings. I love connecting with couples and documenting all the little moments behind the scenes that might otherwise go unnoticed.

To me, being a wedding photographer is about seeing beyond the ordinary and being a visual storyteller. I am so grateful to every bride & groom who has chosen me to tell their unique love story.

When I’m not busy behind my camera, you’ll find me reading to my two kids, binge-watching a comedy or sci-fi series (I’m a “Parks & Recreation” and “Star Trek: TNG” fan), or playing board games with friends & family. I am also an earring addict, a sci-fi nerd, a Christian, a wife, a perfectionist, a homeschool mom, a writer, and a connoisseur of Cook-Out milkshakes (peanut butter is my fave)!

How would you describe your style?: Our style is vibrant, crisp, classic, true-to-life, colorful, and bold. We create timeless images but with a modern, creative twist.

We are always looking for new ways to tell your story in a unique, artistic way. Your love story is extraordinary so we never settle for ordinary images.
Where are you located?: Southern Belle Photography is based out of Salisbury, NC but we travel all over North Carolina and beyond for weddings!

A few of the cities we service include Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Concord, Raleigh, Asheville, Durham, Mount Airy, Chapel Hill, Wilmington, High Point, Kannapolis, Asheboro, Mooresville, Elkin, and Boone.

We are also available for destination weddings so if you feel we are a good fit for your big day, don't hesitate to reach out!
Do you offer albums?: Yes, we do!

Your memories matter so we offer a wide variety of custom, handmade photographic heirlooms to help your memories survive even longer. We'll pre-design your wedding album for you so all you have to do is proof the layout.

Southern Belle Photography also offers wall art options, parent albums, keepsake memory boxes, "save the date" announcements, & more!
Do you offer videography?: No, but we do have a few videographers we trust and enjoy working with that we would be glad to recommend based on your needs.
How far in advance can I book?: Weddings can by booked up to two years in advance and because of limited availability, it is suggested that you book as soon as possible.
How do I book?: Booking a wedding or session with us all starts with scheduling a complimentary consultation to learn more.

You can do this by either calling us at 336-972-4560, emailing us at hello@southernbellepix.com, or by submitting a contact form here.

During your consultation, we'll chat about your love story & wedding vision to see if we are a good fit. If we "click", we'll help you pick the package that best fits your needs and you'll sign a photography agreement. After you've signed your photography agreement and paid the retainer on your session/package, you will be officially booked!
